She closed her eyes, willing herself to let it go. What she had been doing was wrong… evil… addictive… oh so alluring…

But that wasn't her. She was stronger than that. She didn't need it, she didn't. She had her friends, she had a purpose and she couldn't let this new… obsession destroy her.

And it would, she was sure of that. Yet she had still begged for more.

In the still quiet of the night, Buffy and Willow reached for the hand of the other, hoping to borrow a little of the strength they thought the other could give.
