When Buffy found the picture Angelus drew of Dawn on the table in her kitchen, she ran upstairs to make sure Dawn was home. She wasn't.

Angelus didn't find Buffy's sweet little sister much of a threat - that was his first mistake. He planned to seduce her, to lure her to the dark side and turn her, making Buffy's torture complete.

He got her into bed and she seemed willing to go - which should have been his first clue that something was wrong.

As he lowered himself onto her, Dawn grabbed a stake and that was the end of Angelus.
